The video game by the small development studio Toukana Interactive has captivated the gaming community since its early access release in March 2021 and has already won numerous prestigious awards. Now, Michael Palm and Lukas Zach transform the popular building strategy and puzzle game into a family game for young and old with Dorfromantik – The Board Game.

In Dorfromantik – The Board Game, up to six players work together to place hexagonal tiles, creating a beautiful landscape. Along the way, they try to fulfill the population’s requests, build the longest possible railway and river, and also pay attention to flags that score points in completed areas. The better the players succeed, the more points they can achieve in the end. Throughout the replayable campaign, the points earned unlock new tiles hidden in initially sealed boxes. These introduce new additional challenges and allow players to push their high score higher and higher.
